Jane Mitchell

Jane Mitchell began painting with acrylic paint in 1980 after being introduced to it at the Andy Warhol factory in NYC, she has been hooked since. Mitchell loves the technique that goes with it, understanding how to achieve rich colors and textures and the speed of drying makes every painting feel like an emotional sporting event to her. She paints outdoors because she can see and feel the light much better, it also gives her a sense of freedom. She paints from feeling, intuition. The spirit takes over.
