Bronwen Hazlett is a fine art photographer who explores concepts of home, place, and self-healing. Her images are inspired by her journey through the phases of philosophical alchemy, which involves understanding your true nature, purging negativity, and finding the secret to living your life. Hazlett’s Blue Van Dykes merge her love of painting with a passion for the genre of landscape photography. Her other love is to create photo-montage landscapes with a 120mm film Diana camera. Other than photography, Hazlett is accustomed to working with multiple mediums, such as: textiles, found objects, and collage. Currently, she is exploring iphoneography as well as working with Polaroid film. Hazlett believes that, “One can’t find the secret to life without visualization and experimentation.
